I almost never ate breakfast when I was aiming for my first and second goal. I’ve been choosing sleep over food in the mornings since I was 15 and not eating breakfast is just a bad habit for me. I am aware of how important breakfast is to start the day and get your energy flowing, so I’m making an effort to eat breakfast now. Currently, my go-to breakfast is soft baked breakfast bars! They are easy to eat on the go and they work really well for me!
I love having coffee in the morning, and there’s an adorable little coffee shop near my office this summer. This coffee shop always varies their food options in the mornings. One morning they were serving vegan blueberry muffins and gluten free banana nut muffins that just looked so good I had to try them! The muffins really hit the spot, gave me the perfect amount of energy, and filled me up until lunch! I made some of my own that I like and now I eat a muffin maybe once or twice a week, depending on if I’m hungry or not!
